Privacy policy
This policy describes how the NextBinge mobile application (“the App”) handles information. The marketing site for this product may appear under the funnel name WhatWatchNext; the App itself is NextBinge.
Summary
The App helps you discover titles to watch. It may use optional sign-in, local preferences, and third-party services (such as The Movie Database (TMDB)) to show film and TV metadata. We do not sell your personal data.
Information you provide
- Account (optional): If you sign in, your identity provider (e.g. Firebase / Google) may process email or profile data according to their policies.
- Watchlist: Titles you save may be stored with your account or on your device, depending on how the App is configured.
Information collected automatically
- App preferences: Such as language, region, or family-friendly mode, stored on the device and/or your account.
Third-party services
- TMDB: The App requests movie and TV information from TMDB. See TMDB’s privacy policy.
- Firebase / Google: Optional authentication and related backend services may process account data under Google’s privacy policy.
Children
The App may offer a kids-friendly recommendation mode. It is not directed at children under 13 in a way that intentionally collects personal information beyond what is needed for the service.
Data retention & deletion
Local preferences stay on your device until you clear app data or uninstall. If you use an account-backed watchlist, contact us to request deletion of that data. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
